Are “Pre-Pro” programs detrimental to my chances of getting into med school/other postgraduate institutions
pre pro as in majoring in something of my personal interest (history, ceramics, physics) but still taking enough classes to go to med school after 4 years
Not for med school. To get accepted into med school you have to take certain classes that are in the “pre-med” program. You could still major in something like history, but it would just take longer than four years.
